In 2016 the Louisiana Legislature amended or enacted 14 Civil Code articles. 1 Article was repealed. The amended articles consist of articles 189, 191, 195, 196, 256, 261, 355, 1522, 2995, 3367, and 3493.10. Article 3275 was repealed. Articles 1493.1, 2997(7), and 3496.2 were enacted.
