 In 2025 the Louisiana Legislature amended a number of the Louisiana Criminal Code provisions, affecting such statutes as those concerning: murder and manslaughter; battery; rape; sex trafficking; trespass; extortion; bank fraud; prostitution; and unlawful use of drones at parades.  See below for full text of the updated Articles and the corresponding Acts of the Legislature.
