2025 Changes to the Louisiana Code of Evidence, 2026 Edition Now Available
In 2025 the Louisiana Legislature amended a number of the Louisiana Code of Evidence articles, affecting the following: presumption of injury causation; admissibility of character evidence; hearsay exceptions; and self-authentication of evidence. See below for full text of the updated Articles and the corresponding Acts of the Legislature.
