2025 Changes to the Louisiana Code of Criminal Procedure, 2026 Edition Now Available

In 2025 the Louisiana Legislature amended a number of the Louisiana Code of Criminal Procedure articles, affecting such provisions as those concerning: electronic filings; bail obligations; evidence of obscenity; jury polling; discharge of firearms while committing certain crimes; evidentiary hearings; burdens of proof; review of trial court judgments; and time limitations.   See below for full text of the updated Articles and the corresponding Acts of the Legislature.
